Supa modo is a 2018 internationally co produced drama that now streams on Netflix.In February 22nd, Supa modo was awarded  the best feature film and also the best feature screenplay...The Film was shot in Limuru in a village called Kabuku outside Nairobi and is directed by One of the well known and awarded directors we have in Kenya Likarion Wainaina...
The film Supa Modo,takes us through a little girl's life Jo(Stycie Waweru)who happens to be into Super heros but unfortunately she's threatened with her terminal illness... Jo's Mother,Kathryn(Marrianne Nungo), takes her out from the Hospital so that she can spend the last moments with her as she feels she might be more comfortable with her when she's home than in the Hospital.
Mwix(Nyawara Ndambia),who happens to be Jo's Elder Sister Doesn't seem to agree with the Mother's Decision of taking jo from the hospital but she does all it takes to make her little sister feel special by making her belive she has Super powers.She goes ahead using the Villagers help to try and make Jo's dream of becoming a superhero come true by helping her make her own Supa Modo Movie...
The Film will not only arouse emotions from you like Sympathy, humor etc, but will also give you what you do not expect from it when you watch it.It will also make you belive that there's a place where Kenyan Content is heading to and that Films from Kenya are becoming way more Interesting than ever before...
